This type of saber-toothed cat has just been revealed: "cookie-cutter cats," the name is derived from how great, clean chewing flesh from its prey.
Saber-toothed cat once markets for millions of years, giants like daggers fangs. A kind of big cat will be required to open their jaws wide to swallow down the food.
"It should have a lip that can stretch to jaw to wide open, so that the lip is definitely larger and looser than the modern cats," said researcher Virginia Naples, a vertebrate paleontologist and comparative anatomy at Northern Illinois University. "It may have a jaw like a St. Bernard, and shed water may drool like one, too.
Scientists have known that America used to be home to two species of saber-toothed Cats–dirk-toothed and toothed. A kind of big cat is different in their long fangs and building their bodies.
Dirk-toothed cat's most famous work is the possibility of a Smilodon, is often mistakenly known as Tiger-toothed, though it was not a close relative of modern Predators. Dirk tooths has long, smooth jagged fangs and short-legged bear-like body muscles. Build a big cat's weight meant they couldn't run very fast for more than a short distance-– they might be ambushed their prey.
